Got this book for school. I don't plan to be a large animal surgeon, but the course is interesting and required in vet school, anyway. However, this book is wayyy too detailed. For preliminary learning, this book is kind of overbearing. It would be nice if they included some summary points at the end. Seriously needs to be summed up to the main points of each chapter. Did not really work for me, so I am returning. In short, I personally HATED this book
