This isn't even a basic guide. The jerky recipes look OK but nothing special and recipes 5, 6 and 7 are the same recipe with slightly different names. I mean the same- banana chips, same exact recipe. If you can call slice up bananas, dehydrate, store a recipe.Not even worth space on my Kindle; rare for me as I love cookbooks and have more than 100.
This is a collection of 31 recipes, nothing more nothing less. From a glace, the recipes look sound but some are just variations on a theme.Based on the title, I was looking for something different from this book. I was looking for the actual mechanics of the process not just recipes.
The recipes in this book look amazing. I am excited to try many of them! I never would have thought to make bread in a dehydrator.
This is one of the best kindle books I have now! Although I haven't actually done any of the recipes inside, some of them sound absolutely amazing - especially the blueberry and almond cookies! Cant wait to try the crackers either! If you have a dehydrator, I would recommend buying this book.
These little cookbooks put out by The Ultimate Guide are great! The fact that I have so many to refer to, or just get ideas for new favorites is awesome. I always look for them from Encore to get them free the first days they are released.
This book gave me some great ideas to use in my new dehydrator. I will be using several of these recipes.
Good book with useful knowledge and it was available at no cost. It would be just plain dumb to neglect to accumulate the knowledge in the free Kindle books available from Amazon. Good reference and resource material.
This should be an addition to others books on dehydration as it does not give you basics of drying. It does have a good many recipes that I have not seen elsewhere. It does not cover many vegetables. They should be blanched for short periods of time to stop them ripening. Some good soup recipes.
