I've read several other blackjack books that had very detailed and complex card counting strategies that might work great for MIT students or professional counters, but were too difficult for me to implement in the real world. This book offers much simpler strategies helping you evaluate the table rules to get an edge. The authors also use a very simplified counting strategy, which they call table observation, that does not require memorization and would be manageable for most players. The book includes easy to read tables summarizing how to adjust your play as needed. And some good advice about money management. Definitely worth a read for anyone that spends time at a blackjack table!

Best Blackjack book I've ever read! Each chapter begins with a summary of what will be covered. The material is then presented in a way that is easy to understand and backed with data. Each chapter ends with a summary of the key points that need to be remembered. The authors did a great job of testing time honored Blackjack "rules" against table observations and statistical data that they have spent years collecting and analyzing. They offer new rules to play by and exceptions to the old ones. The chapter on Surrender changed my life! Another great chapter deals with table observation. I am very glad that I bought this book in paperback, because I plan to keep it close by for easy reference when I'm headed to the casino. If Blackjack is your game, this is your book!

This is really an awesome blackjack book! It is packed with content, yet is not overwhelmingly long so it can be read fairly quickly. (I actually read it in just one sitting). One thing I learned was, I never realized there could be so much rule variation between different casinos when it comes to blackjack, but this book teaches you what to look for to find the best places to play.Whatever your current level of blackjack play (casual to advanced), I highly recommend this book!
This is an outstanding blackjack book!!. The authors did a great job of combining a ton of info into a very easy read. But most importantly you can implement their strategies right away and have lots of success!!. I have read dozens of blackjack and gambling books, but this one will sit on the top of the stack to be read again and again. Especially on the plane ride to Vegas!!!!. Vegas baby!!!!
I was skeptical about learning tricks and gaining an edge in blackjack from a book, but this is hands down the best out there! Several examples and strategies to practice and easy to digest.
