We were disappointed. It’s not a pop-up, but more like a lift the flap and the train image is just expanded off the page. I assumed it would be like other DK pop-ups with images that actually pop out toward you and become 3-D. Also, the noisy button isn’t super fun. You press it once and four train sounds come out. I would prefer if there were a panel of four buttons so my child could select each noise. There are so many ways to make an awesome noisy train book more engaging! I’d love a train book where we could press buttons for whistles, chugging, steam hissing, “all aboard” calls, signal bells, etc. We typically are impressed by DK books but this one fell short.

It came on time but the train sound button doesn't work. I hope it is just the batteries (2 watch batteries). Even still if it is them then I just had to spend more money to make it work. You think someone would check that before shipping.

The sound button only plays one sound clip, over and over. I thought it would have at least a few different noises/sounds. Thts why only 3 stars. The pop up pages are cool though

This item came today and the noise button does not work. It is a Christmas present for my nephew and now I do not have time to get a new one AND an forced to go purchase new batteries. Can we someone please contact me about this. Thank you.

He cannot get enough of this book and he's 18 months old and fascinated with trains. For his age, supervision is needed so that the book does not get tore up!

My grandson loves pop-up books, and it's hard to find one that's well made and, oddly, not about farms! This is one of his favorites!
